Meet Our New Volunteer Coordinator, Manir.

My name is Manir Hede, and I am a sophomore at UNC Chapel Hill majoring in Health Policy and Management with a minor in Chemistry. I graduated from Hillsborough High School in 2023 and have lived in Hillsborough for 18 years. As someone passionate about blending science and public health to make a meaningful impact, I volunteer in the UNC Hospital ER and engage in qualitative research at UNC’s Water Institute. When I’m not focused on academics or service, I love skiing in the winter, hiking, and biking back in Hillsborough during the summer.

The Hillsborough Team is thrilled to welcome Manir! He will play an integral role in our Playhouse by helping us recruit amazing new volunteers for our programs, events, committees, and more. We’re excited to have him on board!
