Kick Up Your Heels
The annual i have a Voice Gala is coming up, and I cannot wait to see everyone dressed up and having fun! Held at the Heldrich Hotel in New Brunswick on Saturday, March 14 at 6:00 pm, it will be an inspirational evening of dinner, dancing, and more all while benefiting the Down syndrome community.
Our keynote speaker, Kayla McKeon, is the Assistant Site Coordinator of GiGi’s Playhouse Syracuse and an adult with Down syndrome. She exemplifies all that is GiGi’s, she educates the community about herself and her peers, she inspires her peers to always strive for better and she helps families and friends believe that the extra chromosome is nothing to fear.
A silent auction of items including restaurant gift certificates, spa & personal care items, sports memorabilia, fashion items and home goods and MORE will be conducted throughout the night. We also have some amazing LIVE auction items sure to impress!
Tickets to the gala are still available online at https://gigisplayhouse.org/hillsborough/gala. If you can’t join us that night, we encourage you to make a donation or purchase a ticket for an individual with Down syndrome.
