Hillsborough Youth Board Members named President and Secretary of National Youth Board
PARTH: Being elected to the national youth board as president is not only an honor, but a privilege. I will have the opportunity to work with regional directors and other youth boards to promote a better country in which Generation G is spread, in which everyone supports the notions of acceptance, kindness, and generosity. I am extremely excited to make a tangible difference on the national level and continue to give back to communities and individuals with Down Syndrome. This position will allow me to refine my communication and organizational skills, and share our successful youth board’s story and structure across the country, so that every playhouse has a youth board. In doing so, I hope to ignite a movement that transforms every playhouse into a center of hope and inclusion, where the values we champion become a guiding light for future generations.
MANAN: I am very proud of the fact that I was selected as the secretary of the national youth board. This position will open up many new opportunities for me to contribute to Gigi’s Playhouse in a bigger and more impactful way than ever before. I am looking forward to this role because it will allow me to exercise my organizational and administrative skills, and more importantly, hone them to be better than before, while also supporting the broader goals of our team. By helping to maintain organized records, facilitate seamless communication, and contribute my ideas, I hope to contribute to a culture of excellence and collaboration that will empower our team and the national youth board into the future.
