Tru Kingz of Kindness

On February 21st, GiGi’s Playhouse Fort Wayne received a message from a young man, Will. Will was in the process of becoming a full member of a local motorcycle club, Tru Kingz. To become a full member, the prospects must organize or host an event for charity. What a beautiful idea, right? A few days later, Will and some of his friends from Tru Kingz came to our Playhouse to visit and learn more about what we do and who we serve. Will believed in our mission and chose us to be his charity!

Will hit the ground running and was able to organize a highly successful raffle with the proceeds going to GiGi’s Playhouse Fort Wayne! This past weekend, Will and many of his friends from Tru Kingz played Santa Claus in June. They brought in boxes filled with program supplies, kitchen utensils and equipment, and a monetary donation! To say that we have been touched by this act of kindness would be an understatement.

GiGi’s Playhouse is 100% privately funded and it is because of compassionate and generous people, like Tru Kingz, that we are able to continue to provide our free programs to individuals from prenatal diagnosis to adults. Thank you, Will and Tru Kingz, for supporting our Playhouse and our families.
