Super Spencer

Yesterday was World Down Syndrome Day and our Playhouse celebrated by co-hosting a superhero party! Our Playhouse was packed with new families and veteran Playhouse families. It was wonderful seeing families meeting for the first time and scheduling play dates at the Playhouse, friends playing, a mayoral proclamation and multiple news outlets covering our event! One of our ambassadors really got into the theme and was featured on the front page of our local newspaper, The Journal Gazette!

Spencer would like to share his love of superheroes with the world. The following post will be in Spencer’s words.

My name is Spencer. I have a lot of heroes. I love The Flash, Batman, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman and Captain America. I am their biggest fan. Superheroes are always in my heart. I am going to save the world and save the city.
