It’s Down Syndrome Awareness Month and we are packing the Playhouse calendar with purposeful programs and our 3rd Annual Spooktacular event! Preschool and Under (Prenatal-5 years)
Our monthly playgroup for our youngest participants is back! Join us on the last Monday of the month at 4pm for purposeful fun for the entire family. Volunteers will be present to watch children, to give parents the opportunity to connect. Snacks will be provided. Siblings of any age are welcome! 2-hour session.
Walk Away the Pounds
This fitness program is open to participants, families and community members every Tuesday at 10am! Join us as we follow a DVD that allows you to choose your fitness level and walk up to three miles with friends. Session time is based on how many miles you walk.
Find your inner yogi on Wednesdays at 11am at this all-levels yoga program, led by Turnstone IDD/DD Coordinator, Bekah!
Games with Friends
GiGi’s Games with Friends is designed to increase strategic thinking skills through fun and interactive games! Participants will put their literacy, math and fine motor skills to practical use during this exciting program! We will send materials home with participants after each program to help them continue to use these newly developed skills in their everyday lives.
Chefs of all ages are welcome to join us in the GiGi Kitchen! We will be creating delicious recipes that cater to a gluten free diet. 1.5-hour session.
Join us for our family friendly Spooktacular! We will have games, crafts, snacks and more! This is an open house style event, so you can come and go as you wish. Friendly costumes are encouraged.
