How to Get Involved

Becoming a volunteer at GiGi’s Playhouse is easy! Follow these simple steps to start making a difference:

Let us know your interests and availability, and we’ll match you with a volunteer role that’s perfect for you.

  1. Attend a Virtual Orientation
    We’ll walk you through our mission, programs, and expectations for volunteers. You’ll also get to meet our team!
  2. Meet with Our Volunteer Coordinator
    After orientation, you’ll meet with our Volunteer Coordinator to find the best role for your skills and schedule.
  3. Start Making a Difference
    Begin volunteering and see firsthand the impact you’re making in the lives of individuals with Down syndrome and their families.

We offer a wide range of volunteer roles to suit your interests and schedule:

  • Tutors: Help participants develop literacy, math, and communication skills.
  • Program Leaders: Support activities in music, fitness, cooking, and social skills.
  • Event Helpers: Assist with special events like the Halloween Party and the GiGiFIT Acceptance Challenge.
