Participant Spotlight: Briar K- Our October Best of All

At GiGi’s Playhouse, we celebrate each individual’s “Best of All”—the unique strengths, personality, and joy that make them shine. Each month, we recognize a participant who embodies growth, kindness, courage, and enthusiasm, showing us all the power of embracing who we are.

This month, we are thrilled to celebrate Briar, age 10, as our Participant Best of All! Briar is a bright, joyful, and imaginative spirit who loves to sing, dance, play dress-up, throw a ball, and engage in all kinds of pretend play—her favorite role? Being a doctor! 🩺✨

Briar is an active participant in GiGi’s Art Explosion and GiGi’s Kitchen, where she thrives in creative and hands-on activities. She loves learning new things, exploring her talents, and connecting with her friends at the Playhouse.

When asked about her favorite memories at GiGi’s, Briar shared:
“All of them! I have fun every time I go to GiGi’s.” Her mom fondly remembers attending GiGi’s first balloon release celebrating World Down Syndrome Day, just two months after Briar was born—a moment that left a lasting impression on their family. 💙💛

Right now, Briar is celebrating Down Syndrome Awareness Month in October, but really, every day is a celebration with her around! Briar’s smile, kindness, and thoughtfulness light up the Playhouse. She is always the first to give a hug or help someone out, spreading joy wherever she goes. 🌟

We are so proud of Briar and love watching her shine at GiGi’s Playhouse, showing us all the magic of celebrating each person’s Best of All.
