As we pass the halfway point of 2025, we’re taking a moment to look back on the first six months of the year at GiGi’s Playhouse Fargo and to celebrate what your support has helped us build.

One thing has become clearer than ever: our families deeply crave connection and community. And thanks to you, that’s exactly what they’re finding at GiGi’s.

Moments that show what makes GiGi’s Playhouse Fargo so special

Recently, a mom of a preschooler shared how, for years, she searched for other moms who “just got it.” It wasn’t until she walked through our doors that she finally found that understanding and friendship.

Another family, wanting to pay it forward, donated books and resources that had helped them on their journey — hoping to guide and comfort other families too.

At our annual gala earlier this year, a generous family purchased a table and gifted two extra tickets to a family who wouldn’t otherwise have been able to attend. Simple gestures like these remind us that GiGi’s is so much more than a building: it’s a place where families lift each other up, celebrate each other, and belong.

Growth that speaks volumes

Your support is helping us serve more families than ever before:
✅ 3,906 participation hours in the first half of 2025. Up from 2,204 in the same period last year, a 77.2% increase!
✅ 13 new families already welcomed into our community this year.

And families continue to show up, month after month, because they feel the difference this community makes.

New programs & big impact

This year, we’ve added exciting new programs like Art Explosion, Dance: Zumba, and Math Backpack Buddies. And we’re already seeing their impact.

One mom shared about her daughter’s experience in Backpack Buddies:

“Taryn has asked daily to play the zoo math game… she is confident! Reading… she is super engaged and helps summarize each chapter! Thank you! My mama and teacher heart is SO FULL!”
