GiGi’s Playhouse Virtual Programming

Hey Colorado,

Despite all that is happening on a national and local level regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, we want you to know that we are not halting our efforts to bring a GiGi’s Playhouse to our community. Now, more than ever, we are committed and motivated to bringing our services to the Colorado area.

Before the pandemic, GiGi’s Playhouse national office reported that Playhouses across the country were offering 4,400 program hours a week to families! Now that the GiGi’s At Home virtual programming has launched, we are excited to share snippets of what the programs will look like once we open our Playhouse doors. We want to connect with you and the broader GiGi’s national community online! Now, more than ever, we need your help to support one another and to help create a sense of community. It is exciting because before we even open our Playhouse doors, we are able to reap the benefits of GiGis’ Playhouse National Programming!

The GiGi’s At Home virtual programming is for individuals of all ages and its goal is to serve individuals and their families all across the country. It is a way for families to have therapeutic and educational programs that best meet your family’s needs, whether it is live in person or on your own time. It hosts both On Demand programs, several daily LIVE programs, and a resource library with tools and activities for all. The LIVE programs have been enjoyed by families across the country, and it has only been a few weeks since launching the programs. There are a variety of programs being offered right now, some of which include GiGiFIT, GiGi’s Kitchen cooking class, LMNOP (Language, Music, N’ Our Peeps), Music therapy and more! All you have to do is click the link here and RSVP to the programs that interest you.

With all of these amazing things going on, we do need your help Colorado! Let us know how the programs are benefiting your family by taking a picture or sharing your story with us via email . We would love to share your pictures and stories with the Colorado community on our GiGi’s Playhouse Blog, Facebook and Instagram page with your permission. You can also tag #gigisplayhousedenver when you share pictures online so that we can find them.

In this environment, we cannot exclude the critical need to fundraise so we can ensure our Playhouse doors open as soon as it is safe to do so. Please consider making a donation to the Denver Playhouse, so the pandemic does not slow our ability to open our doors and execute programs live and in person. We will continue to fight for the Colorado families to make sure we are bigger, better and stronger than ever before. We are grateful for YOUR support and continued encouragement during this time.
