The GiGi’s Ripple Effect….Where is Your Impact?

GiGi’s Playhouse National Leadership Conference 2019 brought together over 320 attendees, from 60 Playhouses nationally and in Mexico. Our founder, Nancy Gianni, inspired Playhouse leaders by releasing the GiGi’s Ripple Effect which demonstrates how network resources are designed to impact each Playhouse and our families!

Denver will be the only GiGi’s location in Colorado serving individuals with Down syndrome and their families. How exciting is that? Our goal is to open our doors in 2020, and offer a wealth of programs to serve the Denver Metro area and beyond. We are excited and passionate about making this dream come true. Thank you to the Denver Metro community for making our ripple in an empowerment and global movement for acceptance for all!

Here are a few exciting highlights from the 2019 National Leadership Conference:

  • GiGi’s Playhouse INC is working with Google on Project Understood helping to improve their voice recognition software for those with Down syndrome.
  • GiGi’s Playhouse INC is building the dream 2.0 and investing in the future with Microsoft as a partner and launching AI4Ds (Artificial Intelligence for Down syndrome). More details to come in 2020!
  • Promoting Positive Behavior manuals have been released with brain break activities, positive approaches to get your child to engage and so much more!
  • GiGiFIT programs will be offered for all ages, infant through adulthood starting January 2020! The GiGiFIT program combines physical therapy with a strong fitness focus and goal of success and improved movement. Due to the high demand and commitment to a lifestyle change you will have to receive physician’s approval upon registering for this program.

As a Network we are ‘Bigger, Better and Stronger Together.’ Together we are here to celebrate the ‘Best of All’ in the Denver Metro community. A special thank you to our donors, supporters, friends, and families for your dedication to help us change the way the world views Down syndrome! As we continue to celebrate 2019, we are now more inspired and believe dreams can continue to come true in 2020!
