Spotlight on a True Community Champion: Jupiter Pizza & Waffle Co.

At GiGi’s Playhouse Sugar Land, we are fueled by a mission to foster acceptance, empower individuals with Down syndrome, and build a more inclusive world. While this mission starts within our walls, its impact grows exponentially thanks to the support of our community partners—those who champion inclusion not just in word, but in action. One of the most remarkable examples of this commitment is Jupiter Pizza & Waffle Co., and its owners, Victor and Kelly Litwinenko.

Victor and Kelly are more than local business owners—they are advocates, leaders, and proud parents of two daughters, one of whom has Rett Syndrome. Like so many families in our community, the Litwinenkos have walked the path of navigating life with a child who has different abilities. But instead of keeping that journey private, they’ve used it to drive purpose, compassion, and powerful change in Fort Bend County.

Through their restaurant, Jupiter Pizza & Waffle Co., they have built more than a dining destination—they’ve created a platform for inclusion, empowerment, and giving back.

Over the years, Victor and Kelly have consistently shown up for GiGi’s Playhouse Sugar Land in deeply meaningful ways:

• They’ve hosted countless Spirit Night fundraisers, donating a portion of proceeds to help fund our free programs for individuals with Down syndrome. These events are more than just meals—they’re celebrations of community, drawing families, friends, and neighbors together to support a shared mission.
• They’ve welcomed our adult participants for job training experiences, offering real-world employment opportunities and building critical workplace skills. For many of our participants, these experiences serve as their first taste of professional independence—and they do so in an environment where they are truly valued.
• They’ve given generously, contributing to our fundraising efforts not only financially, but through in-kind donations, event support, and heartfelt advocacy.
• And perhaps most importantly, they’ve become vocal advocates for inclusion, using their visibility as business owners to promote acceptance, celebrate diversity, and model what inclusive hiring can look like.

Their unwavering commitment hasn’t gone unnoticed. In 2024, we were honored to name Victor and Kelly as Guests of Honor at our GiGi’s Gala, where their generosity and impact were celebrated by hundreds of guests. That same year, Jupiter Pizza & Waffle Co. received the Outstanding Employer Award at the Arc of Fort Bend’s Annual Awards Dinner—a well-deserved recognition of their inclusive practices and the tangible difference they are making in the lives of individuals with disabilities.

But perhaps the most touching moment came in 2025, when Victor and his oldest daughter walked the runway together at our GiGi’s Playhouse Fashion Show. Their presence was a powerful symbol of what we strive for every day: families empowered, barriers broken, and love leading the way. Their walk reminded us that inclusion isn’t just a goal—it’s a lived experience, made possible by people who lead with heart.

Beyond their generosity and advocacy, we’d be remiss not to mention what they’re known best for in the community: their incredible food! Jupiter Pizza & Waffle Co. is widely recognized for its creative menu, warm hospitality, and unique twist on comfort food classics. Whether it’s a weekend brunch with friends or a post-program treat with family, Jupiter has become a favorite spot for many of our Playhouse families—not just for the waffles, but for the welcoming atmosphere that makes everyone feel at home.

At GiGi’s Playhouse Sugar Land, we talk often about changing the world. That may sound like a lofty goal, but when we look at partners like Victor and Kelly, we know it’s possible. They’ve shown that you don’t need to be a large corporation or have unlimited resources to make an extraordinary impact. All it takes is a big heart, a clear purpose, and the courage to act.
