Making a Difference

My job at GiGi’s Playhouse gives me a way to work in my chosen profession to help kids and young adults. This has always been my dream.  My mother was my preschool teacher and she has inspired me to follow in her footsteps. I am grateful to have this opportunity to work at GiGi’s where I can also promote our programs in the community.  My whole family are my cheerleaders.  I feel like I am living my dream and I’m loving it.

I am also thankful for the paycheck I earn as staff. The paycheck means I can afford certain things that I love. I am proud to earn a paycheck like other people in my life.

One of my favorite things to do as staff is to lead preschoolers to exercise in the gym.  I also love to lead Zumba dance sessions for teens and young adults.  When I attend volunteer fairs at local colleges and high schools, I enjoy meeting the students and encouraging them to join us at GiGi’s.  I love making new friends!

I never thought I would have a paid job like this.  I am very grateful.
