Introducing…Our new Speech and Language Pathologist!

In July, we were extremely fortunate to be awarded a $50,000 grant from The Golisano Foundation to fund our Amina Grace Speech Program!  This grant allows us to hire a Speech and Language Pathologist who will implement this very important program to our participants!

We are pleased to introduce to you Ms. Kristin Housel, our new Speech and Language Pathologist!

Kristin is a Rochester native and worked for nearly 7 years at a special independent school in New York City for children in the public school system who had speech and language issues due to varying emotional and mental health issues.  She then moved back to Rochester and has spent the past 7 years as an independent Speech and Language Pathologist primarily as early intervention.

Kristin is a mother of 2 beautiful girls, Casey (9 years old) and Paige (6 years old).  She spends her free time coaching both of their lacrosse teams!  Kristin is also on the board of the Rochester Regional Breast Feeding Coalition.

We are thrilled to welcome her to our team and look forward to bringing this vital program to our Playhouse.  Be sure to join us in welcoming her and introduce yourself on your next visit to the Playhouse!   Stay tuned for Fall Enrollment information coming very soon!
