Last month, we witnessed something truly special. đź’›
One of our participants, Luke, is 5 years old and has been coming to the Playhouse for about a year. In the beginning, it took him a while to warm up, even just stepping into the main program room was a big challenge.
Slowly but surely, Luke began to join us in the room… but still preferred to observe rather than participate.
Then, last month, everything changed. Luke not only participated in the program, he made incredible eye contact, played with his peers, and actively listened to the lesson. 🙌
It was an emotional few weeks for everyone, but especially for his mom, who sat on the “parent couch” and cried happy tears as she watched her son thrive.
This is what GiGi’s Playhouse is all about , creating a safe, supportive space where progress, no matter how big or small, is celebrated.
