As 2024 comes to a close, my heart is overflowing with gratitude for each of you. At GiGi’s Playhouse Cincinnati, our mission to change the way the world views Down syndrome becomes a reality because of support from people like you.

This year, your dedication drove our success to new heights. Because of you GiGi’s Playhouse Cincinnati reached more families than ever with our free, research-driven programming, more than doubling our community of active participants. We are also celebrating one year of offering 1:1 Speech & Language Therapy, removing the barrier of cost while delivering life-changing support. With a remarkable increase in program participation and volunteer hours, the dedication of our community has made this a truly transformative year. Together, we continue to empower individuals with Down syndrome and their families in extraordinary ways.

While the numbers behind GiGi’s Playhouse Cincinnati’s growth are extraordinary, the real inspiration comes from moments that cannot be captured by data. Throughout 2024, families experienced transformative moments of growth and connection. Volunteers gave their time, talents, and energy to make every program impactful and welcoming. Donors at every level helped to provide the critical support needed to sustain our mission. I have the unique position and honor to witness this impact every time I walk into our Playhouse. From welcoming new parents into the community then watching their child grow and flourish, to watching adult participants reach new heights of confidence and establish friendships after consistently attending programs; I realize what a special privilege I have to see these moments in real-time.

Every hour, every dollar, and every act of kindness has fueled our ability to serve and celebrate our amazing Down syndrome community. Your unwavering belief in our vision makes all the difference.

As we look ahead to 2025, I invite you to continue showing up for GiGi’s in every way you can! We are thrilled to introduce both GiGi’s Kitchen Adult AND 1:1 Literacy tutoring in the new year, adding even more opportunities for empowerment through purposeful programs.
