The room will be configurable to support classroom-style, lounge-style, or expandable to host therapeutic programming and games centered around social skills and language development in an age-appropriate setting. $5,000 IMPACT: The couch is the place of comfort for new parents coming to GiGi's for the first time. Often, this is the first time parents hear the words "Congratulations!"  Parents can take it all in and share their journey, fears, and hopes. The family room is also a place for parents to network, observe and share experiences, build acceptance, and find mentors. The group nature of GiGi's Playhouse shows parents that their child has an amazing opportunity to achieve their greatest potential.

$5,000 IMPACT: Children and teenagers with Down syndrome participate in therapeutic play and activities with a variety of equipment, toys and manipulatives to develop motor skills, language skills, and social skills while interacting with their peers and siblings.

$5,000 IMPACT: Adults, teens, and children will enhance their fitness, muscle-tone, self-esteem, self-expression, and socialization skills through GiGiFIT. The GiGiFIT program focuses on improving fitness through strength, endurance, joint stability, balance, and movement control. It promotes wellness through nutrition and building self-confidence. From newborn through adult, the GiGiFIT programs build an environment of lifetime physical therapy and fitness.

$5,000 IMPACT: These small one-on-one tutoring rooms enable focus with all necessary materials within arm’s reach. The working area in a Learning Lab is an organized and comfortable space. $1,500 IMPACT: The sensory area can provide a whole new world to those with Down syndrome. The area will provide individuals with great therapeutic benefits by offering a multisensory tactile experience. The benefits to the sensory area include developing senses of sight, touch, hearing, teaching cause and effect, and providing a sense of security and calmness. It will also help encourage vocalization and communication, improve coordination and gross motor skills among many other benefits.

$1,500 IMPACT: A space with comfy chairs with an assortment of books for all ages to include informational books/guides on Down syndrome (inclusion, sibings, IEP's, behavior, etc.)

Site Coordinator Office Sponsor

$1,500 IMPACT: The Site Coordinator is the eyes and ears of the playhouse. Their office is accessible and visible, but also enables privacy for focused work to ensure a smoothly running playhouse for all participants, family members and volunteers.An audio system that is easily accessible to the Site Coordinator is a critical component to include in this space, as music must be playing at all times in a Playhouse to provide an environment that is welcoming, alive and celebratory.A security camera must also be in the Site Coordinator’s office so that the Site Coordinator can see what’s going on in every room and at the front door.
