GiGiFIT Acceptance Challenge: A Heartfelt Success in North Charleston

March 22nd was a day to remember as the GiGiFIT Acceptance Challenge took over Wannamaker County Park in an event that exceeded all expectations. The turnout was incredible, and we couldn’t be more thrilled with how the day unfolded. From the lively field games to the amazing vendors, to the heartwarming moments with princesses and pet therapy dogs—this event truly brought the community together for a fantastic cause.

Shark Attack: A Game-Changer

One of the standout attractions of the day was undoubtedly the Shark Attack game, which was an absolute hit with everyone! A huge thank you to the City of North Charleston for supplying us with this thrilling game. It kept everyone on their toes and added an extra level of excitement to the event. It quickly became a crowd favorite and was a great way for everyone to get involved and have some fun while supporting GiGi’s Playhouse Charleston.

Fundraising Heroes: Carly’s Crew and Logan’s Lucky Legion

We would also like to send a massive congratulations to Carly’s Crew, the top fundraising team of the day! Their hard work and dedication truly paid off, and their efforts made a significant impact on the success of the event.

Additionally, a big shout-out to Logan’s Lucky Legion, who not only had the largest team but also took home the most poker chip winnings. Their spirit, teamwork, and generosity made them stand out in more ways than one, and we are so proud of their contribution.

A Day Full of Joy and Meaning

The event was much more than just a fundraiser—it was a celebration of community and inclusion. The princesses from Wonderful Wishes Entertainment brought smiles to the faces of kids and adults alike, adding a touch of magic to the day. Their charm and grace helped create unforgettable moments for everyone, and we are so grateful for their involvement.

The adorable pet therapy dogs from STAR were another highlight of the event, offering comfort and joy to everyone who crossed their paths. These amazing dogs helped spread love and warmth, and we can’t thank STAR enough for bringing them to the event.
