Celebrating World Down Syndrome Day: Honoring Our LMNOP Co-Leads and Newest Participant
Today, we celebrate the incredible commitment of our new LMNOP program co-leads and highlight the inspiring participants who motivate us every day. We’re also excited to introduce our newest participant, 4-month-old Riggins Stockner, who is just beginning his journey with us.
Meet Our Co-Leads: Leanny Fereira & Sharon Manigault

Sharon Manigault brings years of experience working with individuals of all abilities. Her dedication to fostering inclusivity and creating nurturing environments for growth makes her a key figure in LMNOP. Sharon ensures every participant feels supported and valued, helping them reach their full potential.
Leanny Fereira is deeply passionate about supporting Spanish-speaking families. As a fluent Spanish speaker, she ensures families feel heard, understood, and empowered to help their children with Down syndrome thrive. Her work in LMNOP creates an inclusive space where these families can access essential resources and connect with others.

Meet Riggins Stockner: A Curious Newcomer
At just 4 months old, Riggins Stockner has a vibrant personality and a curious spirit. His mom, Maddie Stockner, says he loves watching his brothers play and is always observing the world around him. In LMNOP, Riggins will engage in activities that promote communication, learning, and connection—building the foundation for his social and cognitive development.
A Grateful Community
As we celebrate World Down Syndrome Day this month, we express our gratitude to Leanny, Sharon, and all our volunteers for their unwavering dedication. Their work is helping create a more inclusive world where individuals with Down syndrome and other abilities are supported and celebrated.
We also thank our participants, like Riggins, who remind us daily of the joy of learning and growing together.
Happy World Down Syndrome Day!
