Advocacy in Action: GiGi’s Playhouse Participants Shine at the Creed Concert

A Night to Remember

This month, our participants and their families had the amazing opportunity to attend the Creed concert at Credit One Stadium—and it was truly unforgettable! Not only did they enjoy incredible music with friends, but they also experienced advocacy in action on one of the biggest stages.

Advocacy on Stage & Backstage

Creed’s lead guitarist, Mark Tremonti, has a personal connection to our community—his daughter, Stella, has Down syndrome. During the concert, he beautifully highlighted her story, reminding thousands in attendance of the importance of awareness, acceptance, and inclusion. The magic didn’t stop there—our group was invited backstage for a special meet and greet with the band members! Our adult participants and their families were welcomed warmly, creating cherished memories filled with laughter, excitement, and joy.

Friendship, Advocacy, and Fun

We were also thrilled to connect with members of the National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS) during this experience. Having our community represented alongside such a powerful national advocate made the night even more meaningful. Beyond the advocacy and awareness, the evening was full of what GiGi’s Playhouse is all about—friendship, joy, and inclusion. Our participants danced, sang, and celebrated together, showing the world that advocacy and fun go hand-in-hand.

Thank You

We are so grateful to Mark Tremonti, Creed, NDSS, and Credit One Stadium for making this opportunity possible. Nights like this remind us why we continue to spread the message of acceptance for all! 💛
