Volunteer Spotlight: Gigi-A Bright Light in our Playhouse Community

This month, we celebrate Gigi, whose unwavering commitment and volunteering to Gigi’s playhouse Charleston has made a significant impact. Gigi brings warmth and kindness to every corner of our Playhouse. Her gentle spirit, fun personality, and genuine love for our families make her a joy to be around. Whether she’s greeting new faces or supporting familiar ones, she creates an environment where everyone feels welcomed, supported, and seen.

Making Magic in LMNOP (Ages 0–3)

As a dedicated volunteer in our LMNOP program, Gigi plays an important role in helping our youngest participants learn, grow, and explore. She supports families with patience and encouragement, offering a steady presence during songs, activities, and developmental play. Her kindness helps build confidence in both children and caregivers, making LMNOP a nurturing and memorable experience for all.

Spreading Joy with Playhouse Pals (Ages 5–8)

Gigi’s impact continues as she volunteers with our Playhouse Pals, where her energy and enthusiasm truly shine. She connects effortlessly with our 5–8-year-olds, helping guide games, crafts, and group activities that spark creativity and build friendships. Her positivity makes a real difference, uplifting every child she works with and helping create a space where everyone can thrive.
