GenerationG is defined by ideals, not age. It’s the generation everyone can be a part of!
People with disabilities confront barriers that others never have to face – like equal access to medical care, educational opportunities, and a sense of belonging and community.
#GenerationG dismantles those barriers of discrimination. It strengthens our will to declare, in one voice, that we will not accept a world where anyone is valued less because of their physical or mental condition.

#GenerationG is giving a VOICE to all those with a disability
When I was born my mom started the first GiGi’s Playhouse Down Syndrome Achievement Center. Today we have 60 GiGi’s locations across the US and Mexico and serve families in 89 countries with our free programs.
The Playhouses are so cool but the problem is outside the Playhouses people are still making fun and bully people like me and my friends with disabilities. They do it to my boyfriend too. He has autism and is awesome boyfriend.
We want the world to accept people with disabilities, so we started a movement called GenerationG. God made us like this and he doesn’t make mistakes! GenerationG is a generation everyone can be a part of!
Will you be GenerationG and help me and my friends? Just draw a heart in your hand and put a G in it! Then promise to be accepting, generous and kind then post and pass it on!
Born with Down syndrome, GiGi, Chief Inspiration Officer of GiGi’s Playhouse, has become an advocate for acceptance and inclusivity, a beacon of hope for those pushed to the margins of our society. Her global movement, #GenerationG, stands for every person with a disability who has ever been abused, discriminated against, or socially isolated.
#GenerationG – The Generation that’s Uniting Us
People with disabilities represent the largest marginalized group in the world. Every person with a disability has felt the sting of exclusion, the harsh blow of discrimination, and the deep scars of social isolation. It’s been like this for generation upon generation.
But #GenerationG is ending this trauma. Join GiGi and become a part of #GenerationG!
Your actions, no matter how small they may seem, have the power to persuade others to do the same. To treat everyone equally, with the dignity and respect they deserve.
When you join #GenerationG, you’re in good company.
Here are some of the change-makers, who have already committed to making the world a more accepting and inclusive place!
