On June 14, 2025, the Wausau community will come alive with color, light, and purpose at the 5th Annual\u00a0GiGi\u2019s Playhouse Wausau 5K GLOW Fun Run\/Walk<\/strong>. Held at the Aspirus YMCA in Weston, this vibrant event is more than just a race\u2014it\u2019s a celebration of acceptance, inclusion, and the incredible potential of individuals with Down syndrome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Mission That Matters<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

GiGi\u2019s Playhouse Wausau is part of a national network of achievement centers dedicated to changing the way the world views Down syndrome. Through free educational, therapeutic-based, and career development programs, the Playhouse empowers individuals with Down syndrome and their families to thrive. But none of this is possible without community support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That\u2019s where the 5K GLOW Fun Run\/Walk comes in. As the\u00a0largest annual fundraiser<\/strong>\u00a0for the Playhouse, this event fuels the mission and keeps programs 100% free for families. Every registration, donation, and sponsorship directly supports life-changing services that promote confidence, independence, and joy.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
