Sharing a bit about those first moments with their baby. \u00a0Thank you Kristen xoxo<\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Thursday morning January 27, 2011 started unremarkably.\u00a0 I was going to the ob for a routine check about a week before my due date.\u00a0 I ended the day in labor and my youngest baby was born shortly after midnight on January 28.\u00a0 We went from a family of 5 to a family of 6.\u00a0 Little did I know that this baby would turn our world upside down.\u00a0 He was quickly whisked to the NICU, for what I was assured was a pit stop.\u00a0 Soon after I was told some &#8220;terrible news&#8221;.\u00a0 Our baby had trisomy 21.\u00a0 This came as a complete shock to us.\u00a0 We had turned down all prenatal tests.\u00a0 We met our baby, when he was born.\u00a0 Not a possible diagnosis, months ahead of time.\u00a0 We would do it the same way all over again.<br \/>\nThe neonatologist could not have been more wrong.\u00a0 Ezra is not terrible news.\u00a0 He is a blessing we have the wonderful opportunity to parent.\u00a0 He is sweet and gentle, he loves everyone and everyone loves him.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"color: #800080\"><a href=\"https:\/\/gigisplayhouse.org\/syracuse\/files\/2014\/02\/Ezra.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-68566\" alt=\"Ezra\" src=\"https:\/\/gigisplayhouse.org\/syracuse\/files\/2014\/02\/Ezra.jpg\" width=\"800\" height=\"1594\" srcset=\"https:\/\/gigisplayhouse.org\/syracuse\/files\/2014\/02\/Ezra.jpg 800w, https:\/\/gigisplayhouse.org\/syracuse\/files\/2014\/02\/Ezra-150x300.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"color: #800080\">We want to hear from you!
