Tonight I filled out a form about Holly. I had to say if she could do this or that and as I filled it out I wrote the letter \u201cn\u201d a lot. To be fair it wasn\u2019t an age specific form so there would have been a lot of no\u2019s no matter what, but there were some no\u2019s I wished were yeses. I found myself a little sad for a moment, but I quickly remembered that those no\u2019s would be yeses! Holly might learn something slower or later but she will learn! I can tell you she knows how to do a lot of things that I couldn\u2019t live without. She looks at me while she nurses, I mean a full on stare into my eyes look and it melts my heart.\u00a0\"\"\ud83d\ude0d<\/span><\/span>\u00a0She still loves to hold my finger and nothing makes me happier. Her smile can melt a thousand hearts. She\u2019s learning to giggle and it\u2019s adorable. She adores her brother and loves to watch him. She\u2019s so obsessed with the TV that she will literally roll and turn anyway possible to see it (it makes for great therapy\u00a0\"\"\ud83d\ude02<\/span><\/span>). She\u2019s perfect.<\/span><\/p>\n

Holly is different, but she is more alike than she is different. And she was created by our almighty Father just as he desired her to be. The journey that Matt\"\"<\/a> and I are on isn\u2019t exactly as we planned, but we are so happy and so grateful God didn\u2019t come down and ask us to plan out every detail of our life. I\u2019m grateful for the surprises. If I could have planned my entire life I wouldn\u2019t have asked for Holly; I wouldn\u2019t have known I should. I love her beyond any words could ever try to convey; yet I try to put my love into words because one day I want to look back and remember what it felt like to love her when she was brand new. I hope Holly has many, many years on this Earth, but more importantly I pray she comes to know Gods love and when she does leave this Earth I pray it is Jesus\u2019 arms that greet her.<\/p>\n

*I took this picture right before I wrote this. As I typed this out she laid right beside me. I could feel her breath on my arm.
