Best caregivers a GiGi’s Playhouse could ask for

For the 2nd year in a row, we had the great opportunity to have as a group volunteer, the MENP Nursing students from UCSD volunteering at GiGi’s San Diego, but this time IN-PERSON!

They were such a great leaders and took initiative on creating fun activities during our “Funday Open Play”. They volunteered from scheduling fun arts & crafts activities, through helping us on our 2021 Donut Run to supporting  a great cause by making signs of encourage for participants of the Susan G. Komen 3-Day Walk for Cancer as they make a pit spot in our parking lot!

We invite you to read their heart warming messages to GiGi’s San Diego.

“It was such a pleasure to volunteer at GiGi’s playhouse and develop meaningful and long term friendships with all friends, families, participants and staff. The true love and dedication displayed by all members represented the true dedication to this organization and all who are apart of it! Thank you for the opportunity to work alongside of you!”

“Over the last six months I had the pleasure of volunteering as a play-pal at Gigi’s Playhouse San Diego. I loved being able to meet, dance, sing, and be creative with each unique attendee, later becoming who I now call my friends.”
– Ryan O., USD Graduate Nursing Student

“Gigi’s Playhouse is a true representation of what community means. The families, children, volunteers, and employees all reflect their love and dedication they have for one another. It was an incredible gift to connect with so many wonderful families, and I feel so honored to have volunteered with this organization.”
