Fantastic Friends Olympics Fun!

By Mia Siino & Claire Ramaley

Fantastic Friends got into the Olympics spirit this month, channeling their inner Team USA! We kicked off the session sharing our favorite Olympic sport to watch. Both Mia and Claire said their favorite sport was gymnastics! Swimming, basketball, and synchronized swimming were other popular options.

After we shared our favorite sport, we designed flags that represented us and watched past Olympics Opening Ceremonies! Mia’s flag showed off her love of her friends and the fun activities they do together.

Then we watched a video on rhythmic gymnastics. After, everyone had the opportunity to show off their gymnastics skills using props from around the playhouse! Everyone did a great job!

Check out our performances here!

After rhythmic gymnastics we broke up into three different groups. People had the opportunity to participate in bocce, archery, and table tennis. Table tennis was Mia’s favorite activity, she won two times! Claire’s favorite activity was also table tennis because everyone was having a great time.

We ended the night with a fun Just Dance dance party! We can’t wait to cheer on Team USA!
