This highly individualized program provides custom-made materials relevant to each student\u2019s level of learning, interest and age. The focus extends from sight word recognition to matching, selecting and naming,phonics, comprehension, number recognition and knowledge of addition and subtraction rules. Tutors work one-on-one with each student, preparing for school readiness, vocational transition and independent lives. Students 3+ years old are eligible for this free program.<\/div>\n<div>There are four 10-week tutoring sessions per year.\u00a0 Tutors and students register before each session and are matched up based on the days\/times they are available. \u00a0<strong>Our Fall tutoring session will begin the week of\u00a0August 31.\u00a0<\/strong><\/div>\n<div>\n<p>The Literacy and Math Tutoring Programs Improve:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sight word recognition<\/li>\n<li>Vocabulary comprehension<\/li>\n<li>Number recognition<\/li>\n<li>Articulation<\/li>\n<li>Self-esteem<\/li>\n<li>Fine motor skills<\/li>\n<li>Literacy<\/li>\n<li>Mat<\/li>\n<li>CONFIDENCE!!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The benefits of the Literacy and Math Tutoring Programs are numerous!
