September Volunteer of the Month: Kim

We are beyond excited to honor Kim Duffy as our September Volunteer of the Month! Kim has been a longtime supporter of GiGi’s Playhouse Rochester, and she is truly the kind of volunteer every organization dreams of having. If you’ve ever been in the Playhouse on a Monday morning, you have probably seen Kim organizing, prepping for programs, tidying up, or helping out wherever she is needed. No task is too big or too small. If something needs to be done, Kim is the first one to jump in.

One of the places where Kim shines the brightest is our annual golf tournament. Months before the event even begins, Kim is hard at work, organizing baskets, making signs, and helping with all the details that make the day such a success. When event day arrives, she is in her element, welcoming guests, solving problems, and keeping things running smoothly with her signature positive energy.

But what makes Kim so special goes far beyond her willingness to help. Kim has an incredible spirit that fills the Playhouse with warmth. She is they type of person who makes everyone feel seen and valued. Just a few minutes of conversation with Kim can completely turn your day around. She listens with compassion, encourages with kindness, and shares a positivity that is truly contagious.

Kim is not only a volunteer, but she is also family. She brings heart, dedication, and joy to everything she does. Our playhouse is brighter and stronger because of her. We are endlessly grateful for Kim and all that she brings to our community. Thank you, Kim for being such a huge part of GiGi’s. You inspire us all!
