October Best of All: Abel

We are so excited to recognize Abel as our Participant of the Month! At just 19 months old, Abel has already made amazing progress since starting his journey at GiGi’s Playhouse Rochester. He began in our LMNOP (Language, Music ‘N Our Peeps) program, where he quickly warmed the hearts of volunteers and peers with his bright smile and love for music and movement.

Abel has since transitioned to our Amina Grace Speech and Language Program, where he is now working closely with our Speech-Language Pathologist Kristin. In speech sessions, Kristin and Abel are focusing on exploring sounds and vocal play building his understanding and use of everyday vocabulary and celebrating all the ways he shows us how much he knows. His engagement and curiosity shine through every session!

We’re incredibly proud of Abel and the Progress he is making each week. He is a joy to work with, and we can’t wait to see what he will go next!
