November Volunteer Spotlight: Meat Raffle Volunteers!

Our Meat Raffle was an incredible success, and we owe so much of that to our amazing volunteers! This year’s event brought together an incredible mix of scholar students from St. John Fisher University and employees from L3Harris, along with some familiar faces and brand-new volunteers experiencing GiGi’s Playhouse for the very first time.

From the moment the doors opened, their enthusiasm filled the room, tickets were flying, laughter echoed through the crowed, and everyone’s energy helped create an unforgettable night. Guest could not stop talking about how welcoming, fun, and organized our volunteers were!

Many of our first-time volunteers shared how inspired they felt by the end of the evening, having witnessed firsthand the joy and community that make GiGi’s Playhouse so special. Thanks to their hard work (and high energy!) we raised over $9,000 to support our free programming and mission of acceptance for all.

We’re so thankful for our volunteer partners a St. John Fisher University and L3Harris, and we can’t wait to collaborate again at future events!
