Celebrating all the victories Ben made, small or big, was such a joyful feeling. I went into this experience expecting to just be a teacher to Ben, but he has taught so many things as well. The friendship that I have formed with my student is something that I will cherish forever. Ben\u2019s kind &amp; positive personality is something I look forward to seeing every week. Tutoring here at GiGi\u2019s has shown me that all people have the ability to achieve their goals as long as they are given an opportunity!<\/em> \u2013<\/p>\n<p>Volunteer Literacy Tutor Mati<\/p>\n<p>Mati and her mom Moira have been involved as program leaders for 21 Stars- Social Skills for Teens and Adults, Teen Tastic (ages 13-17) and 1:1 Literacy Tutoring. Mati has a beautiful way of forming relationships with our participants, connecting with them about hobbies they enjoy and with encouragement that makes your heart sing.
