It has been a true pleasure to be involved with GiGi\u2019s Playhouse Raleigh from the very beginning. \u00a0The amazing passion that I am able to witness from the volunteers to the smiling faces of the participants has been nothing short of inspiring. \u00a0I have been honored to be the program lead for the Generation G Youth Advisory Board for the past 3 years and love that I get to work with teens to make an impact on the Playhouse. \u00a0I also have been a co-lead for the Raleigh Fantastic Friends program and love or monthly \u201cparties\u201d with all my new friends! \u00a0Although I didn\u2019t previously have a direct connection to the Down Syndrome community, I have found a home at GiGi\u2019s that is filled with people that are #MoreAlikeThanDifferent and fills my heart everyday!<\/p>\n
