I felt so proud that night because I went up in front of all those people and did my best without giving up.

Handbells at the Gala 2019

It was the day of the GiGi’s Gala and I was so excited to perform handbells with my choir.  I started to get ready. I put on my dark green sparkly dress and got my hair and makeup done.  Now I was even more excited. When my family was all ready we took an Uber and headed to the gala.  When we got there we saw my friend playing musical instruments at the entrance. It was jazzy music and I love it.  Everyone was in beautiful dresses and suits and the place looked spectacular. My handbells choir met in the back room to get ready to perform.  I felt so happy and nervous. We got on the big stage. I was a little shaky because there were so many people there. Then we performed our five songs.   Everyone smiled and cheered for us while we played. When we finished we bowed. Everyone started clapping. It was so loud. I was still excited and nervous when I sat down.  I felt so proud that night because I went up in front of all those people and did my best without giving up.
