{"id":20856,"date":"2022-04-05T13:51:01","date_gmt":"2022-04-05T18:51:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gigisplayhouse.org\/quadcities\/?p=20856"},"modified":"2022-04-12T13:59:43","modified_gmt":"2022-04-12T18:59:43","slug":"personal-blog-star-date-3-21","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gigisplayhouse.org\/quadcities\/community\/personal-blog-star-date-3-21","title":{"rendered":"Personal Blog, star date 3.21"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Personal Blog, star date 3.21<\/p>\n<p>Ok, so only Star Trekkies will get that, but this is a personal BLOG.\u00a0 As you all may know, while I have been the contracted Speech Pathologist here at GiGi&#8217;s for about 2 years this year was my first year of being fully on staff as the Program Coordinator and the staff SLP and it was also my first time truly celebrating World Down Syndrome Day.\u00a0 I was lucky enough to be working here at GiGi\u2019s for WDSD 2022.<\/p>\n<p>We had a great weekend of events but the highlight for me was when my son, Noah, came to our open house as his mascot personality, Tailsdale.\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/gigisplayhouse.org\/quadcities\/files\/2022\/04\/IMG_1787.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-20857 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/gigisplayhouse.org\/quadcities\/files\/2022\/04\/IMG_1787-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/gigisplayhouse.org\/quadcities\/files\/2022\/04\/IMG_1787-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/gigisplayhouse.org\/quadcities\/files\/2022\/04\/IMG_1787.jpg 534w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Tailsdale is a 6-foot orange fox who loves to make people smile.\u00a0 Noah was happy to come and make the open-house special for some of our participants who got to hug, high-five, and take photos with him.
