World Down Syndrome Day (WDSD) is just around the corner and we have lots of fun ways for your to show your support and love and to celebrate!<\/p>\n

WDSD Shirts & Celebration Kits<\/h2>\n

Our annual WDSD shirts<\/strong> are now available for purchase. We suggest ordering by March 1st to ensure delivery prior to 3.21.22 which is WDSD. These special shirts feature the names of local individuals with Down syndrome on the back. Show your love and support by ordering yours today.<\/p>\n

Multiple colors, styles, and sizes are available and they ship directly to you via the vendor.<\/p>\n

We also have Celebration Kits<\/strong> available for you to celebrate at home, in your classroom, or at your business. These are free thanks to our generous donors. Kits contain WDSD information flyers, coloring sheets, balloons, streamers, and more. They can be picked up at GiGi’s or delivered to you by one of our dedicated volunteers.<\/p>\n

Stop by and see our GiGiFIT Program in action (9 am), get a tour of our newly expanded space, enjoy refreshments, and more! This open house is for anyone wanting to learn more about GiGi’s. We welcome the entire community.<\/p>\n

Sunday, March 20th<\/sup><\/strong><\/h3>\n

Sock Hop\/Fashion Show from 3 pm to <\/strong>5 pm\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Join us for a fun afternoon of dancing and showing off your fun, mismatched, brightly colored socks. @3:21 we will have a walk-through fashion show so each individual can strut their stuff and show off their socks. Refreshments will be served. There will be prizes and gifts too!<\/p>\n

Monday, March 21st<\/sup><\/strong><\/h3>\n

Open House from 8<\/strong> am to 4 pm<\/strong><\/p>\n

We\u2019re offering extended business hours for anyone interested in stopping by to see the Playhouse! Stop by to learn more about the free programs offered for individuals with Down syndrome and\/or how you can get involved with changing the way the world views Down syndrome. Refreshments and WDSD goodies will be provided. This open house is for anyone wanting to learn more about GiGi’s. We welcome the entire community.<\/p>\n

Virtual Party from 5 pm to 5:45 pm<\/strong><\/p>\n

Our national office is hosting a virtual World Down Syndrome Celebration with all GiGi\u2019s locations. Together we\u2019re \u201cReaching for the Stars\u201d! Register for this virtual session by March 9th<\/sup> to receive program supplies. After the 9th<\/sup> you will receive a list of materials to have on hand.<\/p>\n
