In case you missed it, GiGi’s is sharing 21 facts about Down Syndrome over the course of 3 days to celebrate World Down syndrome Day this Saturday, 3.21.20. Every day we are sharing 7 facts on our social media platforms. Below are the facts we shared today! We ask you to please like, share and comment on the ones that speak to you! You either have it or you don’t. Ability is not dependent on the <\/span>condition, but rather on the individual.<\/span><\/p>\n Fact 9- Children with Down syndrome go through the same milestones as other children, although those milestones may take longer to achieve. All children develop at their own pace!<\/span><\/p>\n Fact 10- Adults with Down syndrome work, run their own businesses, participate in decisions that affect them, have meaningful relationships,<\/span><\/p>\n vote and contribute to society.<\/span><\/p>\n Fact 11- Down syndrome occurs randomly at conception.
