If you’ve been following along, you’ve seen that during the month of February, we’ve been showing some love for our team on social media and in our blog. So far we’ve highlighter a few board members and program leaders. We’d be amiss if we didn’t highlight our spring interns. This spring we have 6 interns. Yes, 6 interns!! We have 3 from Augustana and 3 from St Ambrose. Today we’re showing some love for our St Ambrose Interns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please help us welcome Cassie, Maude, and Jaide to our team for this spring. We asked each of them to complete a short interview and will share their responses below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cassie is looking forward to making connections with all the participants and getting experience in working with people with special abilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I want to help and make an impact on the lives of each participant I work with or interact with. They have so much love to give and I want to help other people see that too. I\u2019m just getting started with GiGi\u2019s but I think this is going to be a great way to build experience in both my personal and professional life.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A fun fact about Cassie is: “I have been in dance, theater and and choir since I was in 5th grade”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This spring Cassie will be tutoring, leading our Destination Discovery – Sports program, and assisting with other programs too! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I am looking forward to making so many new connections and building strong relationships. My goal is to help the people here to flourish as well as I can! I think one of the most important pieces of life is helping others. I think there is so much for people like me to give to others and to take away from others during an experience at GiGi’s.”<\/p>

“One thing I have noticed since I started at GiGi’s is that everyone gets to walk away feeling proud of themselves for being here.”<\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A fun fact about Maude is that she is currently trying to learn to play the ukulele.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This spring Maude is tutoring, leading our GiGi FIT Teen & Adult Program, leading the GiGi’s Kitchen Kids program and assisting with other programs too!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I am looking forward to meeting all the amazing people involved within GiGi’s! I am involved because I want to make strong connections and make an impact in people’s lives. So far GiGi’s has impacted me by seeing the amazing connections and friendship’s that are in the playhouse. I would 100% encourage others to get involved with this amazing place.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A fun fact about Jaide is that she loves macaroni and cheese!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
