CANCELED-Social Dance (ages 13+)

All programs will be suspended through April 7th. This includes canceling all group programming, one on one tutoring and Playhouse events. This decision was made to take precautionary measures in regards to the COVID-19 to ensure the health and safety of our participants, their families, volunteers and staff.

GiGi’s is partnering with QC SoDa the local Social Dancing club to bring you Social Dance. QC SoDa will be leading a 9 week (10 sessions) of a dance chosen by the group of participants (ballroom, salsa, etc). The dance will then be performed on April 25th at the “i have a Voice” Gala. Registration is required for this program to participate. This is a session-based program registering below signs you up for all 10 sessions and you are expected to attend each date.

Dates: 2/24, 3/2, 3/9, 3/16, 3/23, 3/30, 4/6, 4/13, 4/20  *10th session date is TBD

Dance introduces basic dance styles, techniques and movements to participants while improving gross motor skills, increasing mental and muscle memory and increasing cardiovascular conditioning, strength, flexibility and coordination.
