Family Speaker Series

Do you have questions about IEP’s, IFSP’s, common core, or school services (OT, PT, Speech)? What about transitioning from different ages and stages in your child’s life? Do you have questions on legal or financial planning for your child’s future? This is the program for you! The Family Speaker Series will touch on a variety of topics, allowing our families to come in and talk with one other, as well as, bringing community members to the Playhouse to provide ideas and strategies to our families.We are open to any ideas that families would like to discuss.

The topics will include, but are not limited to:

1. IEP rights/advocacy

2. Transitioning

3.. Legal/financial estate planning

4. Speech, OT and PT tips and tricks

5. Common Core

6. Best practice research & Tools for teaching

7. Down Syndrome Awareness month
