It wasn\u2019t long before <strong>Laura wanted to \u201cgive back\u201d<\/strong> and find ways to volunteer her time and talent. She is a <strong>\u201cbig picture\u201d<\/strong> thinker.\u00a0 On her \u201cbucket list\u201d was the desire to spend a summer traveling with her family to attend baseball games at Baseball Parks coast to coast.\u00a0 Their journey came to be known as <strong>\u201cRuns for Ted\u201d.<\/strong> Not only did here family become a voice for the Down Syndrome Community to promote Generation G and all that it represents, i.e., Be Accepting, Be Kind, and Be Generous, they also raised thousands of dollars to support GiGi\u2019s Playhouse Phoenix. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Laura shared her family\u2019s journey via social media throughout the summer.\u00a0 Her creative social media communications were informational, interesting, and entertaining as we all followed their journey.\u00a0 \u00a0Since then, Laura has volunteered her social media skill set to GiGi\u2019s Playhouse Phoenix and lends her assistance for our Facebook and Instagram postings as well as participating in community events.
