some of his Playhouse friends….. They are so AWESOME!!
Kaitlyn likes to dance, so Dance Mania is a favorite GiGi’s program for her! She is enjoying golfing with her GiGi friends as well. Her favorite hobby is art and loves to paint. Kaitlyn practices art every day! Her favorite food is a cheeseburger that her dad makes. She is a “Burgertarian”! Her grandmothers like to call her Kate, and that’s the name that they use for the pizza orders.
Teagan likes to play soccer at Little Sports! She also had so much fun making ice cream with her friends at the Mixing and Cooking program. Teagan loves to listen and dance to music. She also loves to ride horses and watch movies! Her favorite food is pizza.
Teagan has lots of nicknames…her mom calls her Bonbon, her dad calls her Sweet Pea, and her friends and family call her TT!
He loves the songs from LMNOP, his favorite is “if you’re happy and you know it”. His mom adds her favorite is “head, shoulders, knees & toes” especially the end when Brett sings it super speedy as a solo! Lee’s other favorite program is GiGiFit, it’s very fun and a great Physical Therapy resource. He likes to walk (assisted) up the ramp to the stage and sit/stand in the chairs. Lee loves to play ball. Since he spends so much time at his older brothers baseball games! He can roll, pass, throw, and bounce lots of different balls. Lee loves all kinds of pretzels!
Jaquai loves Dance Mania! Her favorite hobbies are being a cheerleader and music. Her favorite foods are hamburgers and French fries. Jaquai does not have a nickname, but she does not like when someone calls her a different name, like Jackie. She always follows up with “my name is Jaquai” and enunciates her name loudly!

Thank you Brett for these blogs sharing stories about just a few of the many friends that love your friendship and look up to you as a leader at GiGi’s. Like you say, we really are a family and so many of our programs are more fun because of you. Thank you as well, Brett, for your enthusiasm as you participate on line. I have a picture of us that you shared with me that says “Friends are our Chosen Family”. You make everyone feel like family…GiGi Family. One of our goals at is to encourage our participants to become self-advocates like you. You exemplify this and I appreciate you keeping this family together even though we have been far apart this past year. See you soon!
