GiGi’s Playhouse Phoenix/Scottsdale-“It Takes a Community . . .”

IT TAKES A COMMUNITY TO CREATE THE GIGI EXPERIENCE….

C O M M U N I T Ysharing common characteristics; living within a larger group; leading a connected life; sharing a similar culture; joint responsibility and respect; a need to be together.

Within the walls of GiGi’s Playhouse COMMUNITY is displayed every day.  Our families share their stories with each other, their stumbles, and their discoveries.  They speak of the GiGi Experience as unique and rewarding.  They have a need to be together.

Within the walls of GiGi’s Playhouse our volunteers have created their COMMUNITY.  Theirs is one of dedicated responsibility every day to disguise in fun the therapy and educational programs that meet the needs of every participant.   Babies to Toddler to School Age to Teen and then to Adult, our volunteers bring the GiGi Experience to life.

Within the walls of GiGi’s Playhouse our participants build a COMMUNITY. I see them share a common love for music, for learning, for social confidence and a need to be together.   They want to live within a larger group, to achieve, and to find their purpose in the COMMUNITY they are building.  Their GiGi Experience shows in their smiles and their love for celebrating their “Best of All” success!

Our GiGi’s COMMUNITY extends far outside our achievement center on Shea Boulevard.  I’ve always believed that when we see a gap that we can fill, nothing is better than stepping up with that solution.  Lesley Robertson and Audra Weinstein from ORANGE THEORY FITNESS understand the fitness needs of our young adults.  Their specialty provides a fitness program that is science-based and trainer-led offered within their facilities…free for our GiGi participants.  They create the GiGi Experience in their gym…. now that’s COMMUNITY!

Our GiGi’s COMMUNITY is enlarged as well by the heart of Tatum Lynn and MUSIC AS THERAPY.  An active member of GiGi’s Playhouse, Tatum knows our participants well and she saw a need for free music therapy inside the playhouse as well as within our COMMUNITY with HIGHER OCTAVE HEALING.  Tatum knows how music enriches the lives of everyone.  The beautiful voice of this high school leader, (yes, high school) came to our rescue.   The GiGi Experience plays loudly thanks to Tatum Lynn and MUSIC AS THERAPY.

Tennis anyone?  Kim and Madi Moore knew personally the benefits tennis could provide our GiGi kids.  Building muscle tone and improving strength was soon hidden in an hour of fun and competition with the partnership of LA CAMARILLA RACQUET, FITNESS AND SWIM CLUB.  Sharing their personal time and enlisting LA CAMARILLA’S pros, a new passion was introduced outside the playhouse and in our COMMUNITY!  Tennis is working to build self-confidence with Kim, Madi and LA CAMARILLA providing the GiGi Experience!

GiGi’s is part of a very giving COMMUNITY serving The Greater Phoenix Area.  Our families partner with their child and engage with each other near the couch benefiting from sharing experiences.  Our volunteers connect with our kids with respect and a dedication to “Best of All” learning.  Our participants build our Playhouse with growth, confidence and their determination to be a part of a larger group.  Our COMMUNITY Partners, LA CAMARILLA RACQUET, FITNESS AND SWIM CLUB, MUSIC AS THERAPY and ORANGE THEORY FITNESS, are so generous to see a gap and fill it demonstrating that we are truly STRONGER TOGETHER.
