How and when did you first get involved with\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/b>GiGi\u2019s<\/span><\/i><\/b>\u00a0Playhouse NYC?<\/span><\/i><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I first heard about volunteering at\u00a0<\/span>GiGi\u2019s<\/span>\u00a0Playhouse<\/span>\u00a0NYC<\/span>\u00a0from a relative on Facebook.\u00a0<\/span>GiGi\u2019s<\/span> NYC\u00a0<\/span>was looking for volunteers to help with their\u00a0<\/span>LitLab<\/span>\u00a0program. It sounded like a fun way to volunteer and meet new people.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What do you do as a volunteer?<\/span><\/i><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I am a volunteer in the\u00a0<\/span>LitLab<\/span>\u00a0program. I am currently partnered with Vladamir. We had a great time during the\u00a0<\/span>Winter semester.<\/span> We worked on a research presentation about one of his favorite sports, <\/span>basketball. The\u00a0<\/span>S<\/span>pring\u00a0<\/span>semester<\/span> has recently started, and I am looking forward to us learning about new topics together.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What is the best part about volunteering with\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/b>GiGi\u2019s<\/span><\/i><\/b>\u00a0NYC?<\/span><\/i><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I have loved getting to know Vladimir and his family, and meeting the other participants in the program. Everyone is so supportive of each other.\u00a0<\/span>LitLab<\/span>\u00a0is the highlight of my week. I always leave the program smiling.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

How do you enjoy spending your free time?<\/span><\/i><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I love to cook and bake for my family and friends.\u00a0<\/span>G<\/span>iG<\/span>i\u2019s<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>NYC\u00a0<\/span>will be coming out with a cookbook, and I can\u2019t wait to try out some of the recipes! I also like to spend time outdoors and be creative<\/span>. I love to\u00a0<\/span>sew, paint<\/span>,\u00a0<\/span>and draw.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What do you want the\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/b>GiGi\u2019s<\/span><\/i><\/b>\u00a0Playhouse NYC community to know?<\/span><\/i><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
