GiGi's Playhouse NYC Summer Programs
August 19th- August 30th, Monday-Friday, 9:30AM- 1PM
Families register for either 2, 3 or 5 days each week. Each day follows a specific schedule of activities supporting language and social development, gross and fine motor skills, and early literacy. Parents and caregivers participate in the program and volunteer counselors facilitate each activity.
July 29th – August 9th, Monday-Friday, 9AM-5PM
Teens with Down syndrome explore their independence while learning life skills, developing social skills and relationships, and experiencing the culture and arts of New York City. We have a one-to-one volunteer for participants who are dropped off at the playhouse. Trained volunteer counselors support participants through each activity-packed day.
July 22nd- July 26th, Monday-Friday, 10:00AM-3:30PM
Adults have the opportunity to continue developing meaningful life skills through shared experiences and various learning opportunities traveling around New York City. Through each activity, participants will build friendships and reinforce skills like self-confidence, healthy lifestyles, money management, navigating public spaces, and more. Participants will also be paired one-to-one with trained volunteer counselors.
