Participant Spotlight: Sophia Morris
This week, we are thrilled to feature longtime GiGi’s NYC participant, Sophia Morris! Sophia has been attending our programs since we first opened our doors in 2012. She is a fantastic singer and horseback-rider and a great friend to all. Please enjoy the below Q&A with Sophia!
When did you first join the GiGi’s Playhouse NYC community?
I was one of the first members of GiGi’s NYC with Laura Lyle back in 2012!
What GiGi’s NYC programs do you attend?
I love the GiGi’s NYC summer camp for teens! Summer Adventures is awesome!
What program(s) is your favorite / has been the most impactful to you?
Summer camp because I get to hang out with my friends.
What does GiGi’s NYC mean to you?
Community.
What do you look forward to doing at the Playhouse once we can safely gather there again?
I can’t wait to see all of my friends in person!
How do you enjoy spending your free time?
I love horseback-riding, bike–riding, singing, and dancing.
What do you want the GiGi’s NYC community to know?
I want them to know that I can do anything!
What would you like to see from GiGi’s NYC in the future? Do you have any ideas for new programs or special events?
I am excited for GiGiKitchen, and am so glad the program is now being offered!
