Participant Spotlight: Annie

Meet GiGi’s NYC participant, Annie! Annie is a long-time member of our community, and we were super excited to welcome her back in-person at our Summer Adventures program last year. Read below to learn more about Annie! 

When did you join the GiGi’s NYC community?

• When I was so small. It was a Valentine’s Day party with my friend Owen. 

What GiGi’s NYC programs do you attend? 

• Last summer I went to Summer Adventures. I also do TeenTastic sometimes and yoga during COVID. In the past, I went to the Halloween party at GiGi’s NYC. 

How did you find out about GiGi’s NYC? 

• From my mom. 

Which programs have meant the most to you and why? 

• Summer Adventures because it was fun, and I made new friends. 

How do you enjoy spending your free time? 

• I like to hang out and chill. I use my phone and watch music videos and tv shows. 

What would you like to see from GiGi’s NYC in the future? Do you have any ideas for new programs or special events? 

• More sports programs like tennis and swimming.
