GiGi’s Playhouse New York • 106 West 117th Street, New York, NY 10026
March 3 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm
Just because we have to practice social-distancing, doesn’t mean we have to socially isolate! LitLab is a social outreach initiative connecting teen and adult participants with volunteers to engage in remote arts-inspired learning. GiGi’s NYC participants will be matched with a volunteer buddy, meeting weekly to create presentations on topic they choose. We will focus on reading, public-speaking, PowerPoint, and social skills as we dive info fun, engaging research projects based on a mutual appreciation of music, art, dance, reading, cooking, and more.
To participate in LitLab, you must be at least ten years old, commit to regularly attending each meeting, and register by Wednesday, January 6 here. Upon registration, you will receive the meeting link, which will be the same each Wednesday.
If you have any questions, please contact Hannah Providenti at firstname.lastname@example.org.
* Please note that this program requires a weekly commitment. No drop ins.
* Please also note that there will be no LitLab on Wednesday, January 27 from 5:30pm to 6:30pm due to a special event with Down syndrome speaker, advocate, and model, Grace Strobel, that is occurring at the same time. We encourage you to register.
