<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\nAs dinner began, we were welcomed by our Board President, Gerd Peters, and GiGi\u2019s Ambassador, Bethany Stineman. One of the highlights of the program was the presentation of the Gloria and Cindy Knoch Volunteer Spirit Award by our Tutoring Coordinator, Amy Hirt, and GiGi\u2019s Ambassador, Ryan Pittman. This award celebrates the hard work and dedication of a volunteer who has given their time and effort to make our organization a success in the last year. This year we were honored to present the award to longtime volunteer tutor, Lindsey Guerin. We are so grateful for every single one of our volunteers’ contributions and can’t thank them enough.<\/p>\n\n\n\n As a celebration of 10 years of serving middle Tennessee, we were excited to welcome founding board member and GiGi\u2019s parent, Kim Coure, as our Keynote speaker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Following these inspiring speeches, we began our live auction, with attendees bidding generously to support our cause. From once-in-a-lifetime experiences to being the last hero, the live auction gave everyone an opportunity to support our organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n To cap off the night, everyone hit the dance floor for some lively line dancing. It was a great way to end the evening, with everyone coming together to celebrate our mission and the success of the fundraiser.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We are thrilled to announce that the event raised over $390,000, which will provide over $317,000 for our organization! We are incredibly grateful for the generosity of our sponsors, volunteers, and attendees who made this event such a success. It is through their support that we can continue our mission of changing the way the world sees Down syndrome and sending a global message of acceptance for all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We’re thrilled to share the highlights from our 10th Anniversary \u201cI have a Voice\u201d Gala and Auction presented by The Brett Boyer Foundation.
