GiGi’s Playhouse hosts a number of special events throughout the year, including the annual Gala and Auction, a golf tournament, and many more. Event attendance can range from an intimate gathering of 50-75 people to several hundred guests. Traveling Galleries

Raising awareness of Down syndrome is a key component to the GiGi’s Playhouse mission.  One of the ways we do this is through our “One Million Voices” Traveling Gallery.  A Traveling Gallery is a set of beautiful and breathtaking pictures of kids with Down syndrome—each with their own words and own stories intended to educate the public and change perception. These stories remind us that individuals with Down syndrome have the same ability to pursue their greatest potential as anyone else. One voice at a time, we can change the world and ensure that individuals with Down syndrome are finally treated as equals. Each Traveling Gallery displays pictures and stories in a professionally designed and constructed format that can be displayed outdoors at large events and indoors in high traffic areas.  Corporations and organizations are invited to be a part of this important program by hosting and/or underwriting the transport expenses of the Traveling Galleries.
